The third edition of Campania Wine concluded today, 7 September. Over two days, the event brought producers, Consortia for the Protection of Wines, industry professionals, buyers, journalists and wine enthusiasts to the heart of Naples, with the aim of promoting and raising awareness of the region’s winemaking heritage.
The Consorzio Tutela Vini Vesuvio also took part in the event alongside the other Consortia for the Protection of Wines of Campania, contributing to a shared narrative that showcased the richness and biodiversity of the region’s viticulture.
The Galleria Umberto I in Naples hosted the major Walk Around Wine Tasting, featuring more than 120 Campania producers and over 500 DOC and IGT wines available for tasting. A journey through different territories, grape varieties and denominations, in which the wines of Vesuvius expressed the identity of a viticulture deeply rooted in its volcanic terroir and in the work of the wineries that interpret and preserve it every day.
From the opening ceremony to meetings with producers and visitors, the two days featured tastings, in-depth sessions and opportunities for discussion, giving the public the chance to discover the many different expressions of Campania’s wine landscape.
Alongside the exhibition spaces at the Galleria Umberto I, the programme also featured Masterclasses at MUSAP – Museo Artistico Politecnico di Napoli, offering an in-depth exploration of Campania’s wines through guided tastings, territories and denominations.
Among the highlights of the event were also sessions dedicated to the pairing of wine and gastronomy, with show cooking events that further enriched the narrative surrounding the region’s products and food and wine culture.
Participation in Campania Wine represents another opportunity for the Consorzio Tutela Vini Vesuvio to promote the territory’s denominations and showcase Vesuvius’ winemaking heritage within a broader, shared vision.
A unique territory, that of Vesuvius, which through its wines continues to tell the story of the connection between grape varieties, volcanic soil, landscape and the work of its producers, while engaging with the other great winemaking identities of Campania.
The images captured over the two days revisit some of the most significant moments of Campania.Wine 2026: from the opening of the event to the tastings, from the Masterclasses and show cooking sessions to meetings between wineries, industry professionals and the public.
